We just left. Had a perfect experience, staff is dressed nicely, very attentive, knows their stuff, they care a lot about the place and it shows. Really cool spot inside, Casual upscale vibe. I can’t say enough good things about the food, somehow tastes better than it looks.. we got mushroom soup, the bread w tomatoes and ricotta, she had the Caesar salad with chips instead of croutons.. I had the smash burger, our drinks were great I had cider she tried two cocktails then we finished with the pumpkin bread w ice cream… absolutely off the chain. Go. Just as good if not better than their “sister spot” sovanna bistro in kennet [to be fair it’s a lot of the same staff] and light years better (imo) than dilworthtown inn.The server Francesca rocks. Just go.

First time here and had a great overall experience. We sat upstairs and tried much of the menu. All the food was fantastic and enjoyed by both vegetarians and non vegetarians at the table. The hummus, and warm olives tapas were great as well as the eggplant parm. The meatball, swordfish and chicken cutlet were a hit too.

Great location that makes you feel like you stepped back in time. A fantastic menu with lots of shareable sized portions. The prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable! The bar was overcrowded and getting to our table was a journey, getting around drunk patrons in baseball caps... 3 deep at the bar. Some rules here would be appropriate.

Five-Star Experience at The Pear in West Chester! Absolutely delicious meal at The Pear! The Wagyu smash burger was phenomenal—bursting with flavor—and we devoured the truffle fries . The drinks were equally impressive, and the upscale casual atmosphere was lively yet comfortable, perfect for enjoying great conversation without excessive noise. Service was top-notch! Our waiter was attentive and made us feel like the only guests in a packed restaurant. Kudos to the staff for their efficiency and hospitality. Matt truly enhanced our dining experience, making it even more memorable. A fantastic dining spot that deserves all ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐—highly recommend!

Intimate restaurant in a special setting. Beautiful period building with loads of character. Went on a Tuesday night and it was buzzing. Fun activity at the bar and great vibe in the dining area. Food was outstanding. I'm a veg and the chef made me a special dish which combined elements of 2 other dishes. Our server, Mike, was a gentleman of the highest order and made sure that we were well taken care of. Menu changes to reflect seasonality, specials, or the whim of the chef. This is a positive.

We had such a fabulous dinner at the pear on Wednesday night! Our waitress Danielle was so sweet and helpful when going through the menu. The fan favorite from our group was definitely the wedge dill Caesar salad. It was so delicious and I’ve already told all my friends about it! We loved the idea of being able to share the appetizers, and we also shared our entrées! Such a fun night with great food, great atmosphere and great service!!
